About Brussels-Midi
Brussels-Midi (Gare du Midi, Brussel-Zuid) is Belgium's main international railway station and the gateway for high-speed services arriving in the country. Eurostar from London, Thalys to and from Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne, TGV from France, and ICE from Germany all terminate or stop here, alongside Belgian intercity trains. It is located in the Saint-Gilles district, southwest of the historic centre.
The station has multiple exits, with the main taxi rank on Avenue Fonsny in front of the international platforms. After arrivals from Eurostar or Thalys, the rank can fill up quickly, and luggage is heavy after a long-distance trip. Pre-booking a TaxiGo means the driver is already there with your name, the price agreed in advance, and help with bags from the platform exit to the car.
From Brussels-Midi the most common rides are short connections to the historic centre and the Grand Place (around 10 minutes), to Brussels-Central and Brussels-Nord, to hotels in the Sablon, Louise and European Quarter, and to the EU institutions. Brussels Airport is about 30 minutes north of the station; Charleroi Airport is around 45 minutes south. We also handle longer transfers to Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Luxembourg, all at a fixed price confirmed before you book.
Every ride includes 60 minutes of free waiting time after international arrivals, so a delayed train does not become a missed taxi. Drivers monitor schedules and adjust pickup times automatically when you provide the train number. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup is included on every booking.
